Your information, clearly explained.
Last updated: 21 August 2026
This policy explains how Fusion Software Consulting Ltd (“we”, “us” or “our”) uses personal information when you visit fusionsoftwareconsulting.co.uk, contact us, become a customer or receive marketing from us.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide, such as your name, work email, company, phone number and project details. We also collect limited technical information necessary to operate and secure the site. If you accept analytics cookies, analytics services may collect pages viewed, device and browser information and approximate location derived from your IP address.
How we use information
- To respond to enquiries and provide requested services.
- To plan, deliver and support software projects.
- To operate, secure and improve our website and services.
- To send relevant marketing where you have opted in or another lawful UK rule permits it.
- To meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.
Our lawful bases
We rely on legitimate interests to respond to business enquiries, operate and secure our site and manage customer relationships; contract to provide agreed services; legal obligation where applicable; and consent for optional analytics cookies and marketing where consent is required.
Marketing
The marketing checkbox on our enquiry form is optional and not pre-selected. You can withdraw consent or object to direct marketing at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email or contacting us.
Who we share information with
We use selected providers for website hosting, email, enquiry handling, project delivery, security, spam protection and analytics where accepted. They process information on our instructions. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose it when required by law or to protect our rights and systems.
Spam protection
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our enquiry forms from spam and automated abuse. When Turnstile runs, Cloudflare processes limited technical signals, including your IP address, browser user-agent, TLS fingerprint, the site key and the website origin, to distinguish people from bots. This processing is necessary for the security of our forms and is based on our legitimate interests in protecting our website and communications.
Cloudflare processes these signals for us to provide Turnstile and also processes them as an independent controller to improve its bot-detection service. Turnstile may use strictly necessary cookies or similar technologies; it is not used for advertising or to track you across our site. More information is available in Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
International transfers
Where a supplier processes information outside the UK, we use an adequacy decision, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or another appropriate safeguard where required.
How long we keep information
We generally retain enquiry records for up to 24 months after our last meaningful contact. Customer and project records may be kept for longer where necessary to deliver support, meet tax and legal requirements or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Your rights
You may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal information and may object to certain processing. Contact [email protected]. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Cookies
We use essential local storage to remember your cookie choice and protect forms from spam. Optional analytics only loads after you accept it. Rejecting optional cookies does not limit access to the site.
Contact and changes
